Dyson launches V16 Piston Animal vacuum in India

Dyson has launched the V16 Piston Animal in India, priced at Rs 79,900. The cordless vacuum is marketed as a powerful anti-tangle device featuring a 900W Hyperdymium motor that produces 315AW of suction.

According to design and development engineer Tim Hare, the device utilizes advanced sensing technology to automatically adjust suction power and brush bar speed based on the floor type. The system uses pressure detection, motor current monitoring, and a piezo sensor to measure dirt levels, allowing the machine to distinguish between various carpet and hard floor surfaces. Additionally, the vacuum features new conical cleaner heads designed to prevent hair wrap, with the capability to detangle hair up to 25 inches long.
