Düzce Mayor announces 1.1 billion TL museum project for Konuralp

Düzce Mayor Faruk Özlü announced significant investments for the Konuralp region during a community meeting in the Çiftepınarlar neighborhood. A major museum project is set to follow the completion of excavations at the Konuralp Ancient Theater.

A total of 1.1 billion TL has been allocated for the museum project, with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism providing 350 million TL for restoration and 750 million TL for the construction of the museum itself. The project has received approval from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Additionally, Özlü noted that Düzce’s development classification has risen from B-6 to B-7, which is expected to increase the city's budget from the Bank of Provinces by approximately 100 million TL. These funds are intended to support tourism and infrastructure development in the region.
