Düzce Mayor Faruk Özlü inspects infrastructure works

Düzce Mayor Faruk Özlü has been personally coordinating infrastructure and asphalt works within the city. During a recent inspection of new asphalt, Özlü utilized the Turkish domestic electric vehicle, TOGG, to test the road surfaces.

Özlü, who previously served as the Minister of Science, Industry, and Technology during the initial project modeling phase of TOGG, expressed pride in using the vehicle to showcase local services. He also highlighted Düzce’s developmental progress, noting that according to classifications by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, the city has seen significant growth in tourism and local services, moving up in development rankings.
