Düzce Municipality has completed the preparatory phase for the Asar Values and Youth Center project. The development is planned for a 10,000-square-meter area located on the western side of 23 Nisan Park, in the site formerly known as the old kokoreç market.

The project consists of two interconnected structures with a total construction area of 700 square meters. These buildings will house educational classrooms, a multi-purpose conference hall, a prayer room, and various indoor and semi-open seating areas. The remaining 9,000 square meters of the site will be dedicated to intensive landscaping, including walking paths and tree planting.

Mayor Dr. Faruk Özlü stated that the center is designed to serve all residents, including children, youth, and the elderly, acting as a complementary social space to existing local landmarks like Asar Kemer Park and 23 Nisan Park. Soil survey work has already begun to facilitate the next stages of construction and tendering.
