Düzce Municipality announces public debt installment period

Düzce Municipality has announced that applications for the deferral and installment of public receivables will be accepted until August 31, 2026. These applications are processed under Law No. 6183 regarding the Collection Procedure of Public Receivables.

A yearly deferral interest rate of 29 percent will be applied. The installment process is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, with payments collected in monthly periods. Debts can be divided into a maximum of 48 installments.

Regarding collateral, no guarantee will be required for debts up to 10 million TL. For debts exceeding this amount, collateral equivalent to 40 percent of the remaining debt will be required. If two installments are not paid on time, the deferral will be considered breached, and legal action will be taken according to Law No. 6183.
