Düzce Municipality Council Raises Commercial Vehicle Plate Fees

The Düzce Municipality Council held its second August session at the Konuralp Municipal Service Building, chaired by Deputy Mayor Ali Dilber. The council unanimously approved new tariffs for commercial vehicle plate transfers, setting the S‑plate fee at 20,000 TL plus VAT and the T‑plate fee at 35,000 TL plus VAT.

In the same meeting, council members authorized a 500 million TL, 60‑month loan for asphalt and road‑maintenance projects, a 100 million TL credit for the Millet Bahçesi 2 project, and a 300 million TL credit for the purchase of municipal vehicles and equipment. Approved acquisitions include seven gasoline motorcycles, three electric three‑wheelers, four excavators, twelve loader‑backhoes, fourteen dump trucks and other machinery. The council also adopted several regulatory updates and zoning‑plan changes affecting municipal services and construction.

These decisions will shape Düzce’s transport market, infrastructure financing and municipal asset management in the coming years.
