Düzce Municipality hosts project tours for local women

The Düzce Municipality has organized a specialized excursion program titled ‘The Municipality is in Service, Women are Exploring’ to inform local residents about ongoing urban development projects. This week, women from the Nusrettin, Gökçe, Körpeşler, and Şehit Murat Demir neighborhoods participated in the initiative.

During the tours, participants visited several key infrastructure and cultural sites, including drinking water regulators, water treatment plants, and the ongoing construction of a new water treatment facility with a daily capacity of 130,000 cubic meters. Other visited locations included Asar Kemer Park, the planned Millet Bahçesi-2, the Monument Project, the Agriculture Academy, the 19 Mayıs Sports Campus, the Konuralp Ancient Theatre, and the Konuralp Gazi Tomb.

Local residents expressed satisfaction with the program, noting that the tours provided a direct opportunity to receive information from officials regarding the scale and quality of the city's investments. The municipality plans to continue these coordinated visits with neighborhood mukhtars across all districts.
