Düzce Municipality renews drinking water network
Düzce Municipality is advancing its Drinking Water Network Renewal Project, an initiative designed to resolve the city's water supply issues for the next 50 years. As part of the ongoing works, teams have completed the installation of a 29-kilometer new pipeline.
Work is currently continuing in four different locations across the city, including the Yahyalar, Beyciler, and Çamköy neighborhoods, as well as the Beyköy area. Düzce Mayor Dr. Faruk Özlü emphasized that the project aims to replace an aging infrastructure system that has been impacted by previous earthquakes and suffers from pressure problems due to its old age.
The municipality is utilizing high-quality materials for the new pipes to ensure long-term reliability and prevent future water shortages.
