Düzce University hosts guidance session for new students

Düzce University's Career Development and Graduate Tracking Research Center hosted a live social media session to guide new students through their academic and administrative processes. Led by Lecturer Zeynep Kömür, the session featured Havva Pınar Kumral, Head of the Student Affairs Department, along with Branch Managers İsmail Uğur and Mustafa Tural.

The discussion covered essential topics including course registration, the use of the Student Information System, and the importance of the academic calendar. It was noted that Fall Semester classes are scheduled to begin on September 21, 2026. The session also provided guidance on exam procedures, freezing or withdrawing from registration, and disciplinary processes.

Additionally, the program addressed student interests regarding student amnesty regulations, including eligibility and application deadlines. Other academic pathways discussed included lateral and vertical transfers, minor and double major programs, and graduation requirements.
