Düzce University hosts pediatric symposium on child health

Düzce University Faculty of Medicine, in collaboration with the Pediatric Specialty Academy Association (PUADER), hosted the Düzce Pediatric Symposium to discuss current developments in child health and diseases. The event brought together academics, physicians, and university leadership, including Rector Prof. Dr. Nedim Sözbir and Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammet Ali Kayıkçı.

The symposium featured several technical sessions covering diverse clinical topics. Presentations included discussions on rational approaches to short stature, interpreting positive urine cultures, and diagnostic clues regarding red urine. Other sessions addressed neonatal resuscitation, management of chronic cough, malnutrition, pediatric arrhythmia via EKG, liver function test abnormalities, and the importance of breastfeeding and complementary nutrition.
