Düzce University Rector meets with students to discuss career and success
Düzce University Rector Prof. Dr. Nedim Sözbir met with students during a “Welcome Meeting” organized by the Career Development and Graduate Monitoring Research Center. The event aimed to support students' integration into university life and strengthen institutional belonging.
During the session, Sözbir emphasized the importance of continuous learning, professional knowledge, and foreign language skills. He highlighted that Düzce University maintains a 100% occupancy rate and noted that 85.04% of its graduates are employed in their respective fields. Furthermore, the university ranks among the top 15 in Turkey for employment rates within the first month of graduation.
Sözbir also shared the institution's sustainability achievements, noting its ranking in the UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings 2026, where it placed 11th in Turkey and 138th globally.
