Dziwnów municipality launches free swimming lessons for primary students

Starting October 5, all students in grades 1–8 at the primary school in Dziwnów will begin swimming lessons as part of their physical education curriculum. The program is free for students, with the Municipality of Dziwnów covering all instruction and transportation costs through its ‘Aktywna Gmina Dziwnów’ initiative.

Classes will take place once a month at the Essense Baltic Resort & SPA pool. Students will be transported to and from the facility by bus under teacher supervision during school hours. Mayor Łukasz Dzioch emphasized that because the community is located by the sea, swimming skills and water safety are essential life skills and a matter of safety for local children.
