e-EFKA and DYPA to distribute 65 million euros to Greek beneficiaries

Between September 14 and September 18, 2026, e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA) will distribute approximately 65 million euros to 64,261 beneficiaries in Greece. These scheduled payments include unemployment benefits, maternity leave allowances, lump-sum payments, and funds for subsidized employment programs.

Specifically, DYPA is set to distribute 20 million euros in unemployment and other benefits to 34,000 people, 5 million euros in maternity leave support to 7,000 mothers, and 21 million euros for subsidized employment programs to 20,000 beneficiaries. e-EFKA will also process 17.5 million euros in lump-sum payments for 950 recipients.

Additionally, the DYPA seasonal aid for 2026 is available for workers in seasonal professions, such as tourism, catering, and construction. Eligible workers can apply electronically via gov.gr from September 10 until November 30, 2026. Benefit amounts range from 719 to 1,438 euros, depending on the professional sector and insurance requirements met during 2025.
