Greece: e-EFKA and DYPA announce pension and benefit payment schedules

Greek social security and employment agencies, e-EFKA and DYPA, have announced several rounds of scheduled payments for pensions and various benefits.

Between August 31 and September 4, 2026, e-EFKA and DYPA will distribute a total of 88,816,664.80 euros to 116,143 beneficiaries. This includes pension advances, maternity benefits, sickness and accident allowances, and lump-sum payments. DYPA specifically is allocating 28 million euros for unemployment benefits, 2 million euros for maternity leave, and 19 million euros for employment programs.

Regarding October 2026 pensions, payments are scheduled in two phases. The first phase, occurring on September 25, 2026, covers non-salaried pensions (OAEE, OGA, ETAA) and new pensioners under Law 4387/2016. The second phase, on September 29, 2026, includes salaried pensions from funds such as IKA-ETAM, Banks, OTE, and DEH, as well as public sector pensions. Due to the October 28 holiday, November 2026 pensions are also expected to be paid earlier in late October.
