e-Fran holds Otakaraya franchise owner meeting in Yokohama

e-Fran Co., Ltd. held the ‘Otakaraya Franchise Owner Meeting 2026’ at Pacifico Yokohama to honor and recognize its franchise owners. The event featured a special entertainment stage with guests including Dachou Club, Kintaro, and Junretsu.

The program included unique ‘appraisal’ segments where owners evaluated the guests, and a performance of the ‘hot oden’ comedy routine. Kikuo Watanabe, the 79-year-old chairman of e-Fran, participated in the performance by eating hot oden items on stage.

As of August 2026, the Otakaraya brand operates over 1,960 stores globally. The company stated its long-term goal is to reach 3,000 stores and 1 trillion yen in sales.
