E Hospital treats 5-year-old boy injured by outdoor gym equipment

Doctors at E Hospital successfully performed emergency surgery on a 5-year-old boy who sustained a serious genital injury at a public outdoor fitness area. The child suffered a 2cm tear to the prepuce after running into the moving path of a metal pedal while his mother was using an elliptical machine.

Medical professionals noted that the accident occurred because the child entered the machine's blind spot.
