E IO CI STO festival transitions to documentary cinema event

The seventh edition of ‘E IO CI STO – Il cinema sotto le stelle’ has been announced, marking its evolution from a film series into a full-scale festival dedicated to documentary cinema and real-world storytelling. Scheduled from August 22 to 28, the event will feature film screenings, live podcasts, meetings, and environmental activities.

The festival includes a competition with four distinct awards: the Roots Prize, Digital Narrative Prize, Best Documentary Prize, and the Environment and Territory Prize. Locations for the event include Parco Pitagora and Orto Tellini. This year, the festival emphasizes environmental sustainability through a partnership with A2A and will feature scientific contributions from National Geographic Italia, including participation from Explorer Martina Capriotti.
