E! launches third season of sustainable fashion show “Descosturando com Herchcovitch”

The Brazilian fashion‑recycling series “Descosturando com Herchcovitch” returns for a third season on E! on Thursday, 6 August at 22:00, with the episodes becoming available on UNIVERSAL+ the following day. Designer Alexandre Herchcovitch is joined by his mother Regina Herchcovitch and new co‑hosts Karol Conká and Márcia Pantera.

Each episode pairs a celebrity guest with an anonymous participant who donate emotionally valuable garments. Alexandre transforms the donated pieces into new looks, swapping the outfits between the two guests. The show highlights Brazil’s textile waste problem—over four million tonnes discarded annually—and incorporates digital printing, 3‑D printing and large‑scale visualisation of sketches. Participants have included Gabz, Linn da Quebrada, Bia, Branca Feres and journalist Manoel Soares.

The programme, co‑produced with Mood Hunter, continues to promote sustainable, emotional and innovative fashion by repurposing items that might otherwise end up in landfill.
