E-motorcycle rider seriously injured in Pittsfield crash

A 22-year-old man, Girey Rivera, sustained life-threatening injuries following an e-motorcycle crash on Wahconah Street in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. According to police, Rivera was traveling southbound when he attempted to move between stopped traffic to cross the northbound lane, at which point he was struck by a 2014 Honda CRV.

Rivera was transported to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the Honda CRV was not injured. The Pittsfield Police Traffic Unit is currently investigating the incident.
