E-Pueblo seeks to reactivate political registration in Bolivia

The political movement associated with Evo Morales has filed an extraordinary review recourse before the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) to reactivate its application for legal personality. The organization, named E-Pueblo, seeks to overturn a December 2025 resolution that rejected its request for political status.

Legal representative Marcelo Galván stated that the challenge is based on alleged failures by the TSE to meet established deadlines for issuing reports during the review process. The group argues that they have addressed previous observations and that procedural irregularities justify annulling the prior rejection.

If the TSE grants the request, E-Pueblo will proceed to the next stage of the process, which involves collecting signatures via biometric registration. Galván noted that if the TSE does not rule favorably, the movement intends to seek relief through constitutional injunctions, citing precedents set by other political organizations like the MIR and the FSB.
