E-Redes announces over 100 scheduled power outages in Portugal
E-Redes, the electricity distribution company in Portugal, has announced more than 100 scheduled power outages across nine municipalities this Sunday. These interruptions are intended for maintenance and improvements to the national electrical grid.
The outages will affect various districts, including Lisbon, Leiria, Coimbra, Viseu, Beja, and Setúbal. In Lisbon, the Arroios parish is scheduled to lose power from 5:00 to 11:00, affecting approximately 33,000 residents. In Loures, the union of parishes of Camarate, Unhos, and Apelação will experience cuts between 6:00 and 12:00.
Other planned interruptions include areas in Bombarral, Coimbra, and Viseu. E-Redes noted that specific timings may vary due to the dynamic nature of the distribution network, connection points, and consumption and production values.
