E-Redes announces scheduled power outages in Portugal
E-Redes has announced scheduled electricity supply interruptions across various Portuguese municipalities on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The outages are necessary to facilitate maintenance and network improvement works.
The disruptions will affect several regions from north to south. In Lisbon, Campo de Ourique will experience a cut from 05:00 to 08:00. In Mafra, the outage is expected to last longer, from 05:00 to 11:00, affecting Escariz and the union of parishes of Venda do Pinheiro and Santo Estêvão das Galés.
In the Alentejo region, scheduled cuts will occur in Ourique, Grândola, and Ferreira do Alentejo between 07:00 and 11:00. The Algarve region will also be impacted, with Olhão seeing interruptions from 06:00 to 11:00, Albufeira from 06:30 to 11:30, and Portimão and Alvor from 09:00 to 11:00. Most services are expected to be restored by midday.
