E1 Team Monaco secures first podium in Luanda

E1 Team Monaco secured its first podium finish during the fifth race of the inaugural E1 electric boat championship in Luanda. The team overcame significant technical challenges, including a damaged left foil caused by contact with another RaceBird during a race with poor visibility. The technical crew managed to complete repairs in just 30 minutes, allowing the team to remain competitive.

Oban Duncan delivered a standout performance, finishing second in the final race and setting the fastest lap with a time of 1:12.218. Her performance earned her the ‘Pilot of the Day’ designation. Maxime Nocher also contributed to the team's success by recovering from a difficult start in the first final to secure a third-place finish, ensuring the team's qualification for the final race.
