E20 Motorway closed near Ringsted Ø due to accident

An accident on the E20 West Motorway has caused a complete closure in the direction of the Storebælt Bridge. The blockage is located shortly before exit 35, Ringsted Ø, specifically between Kværkeby and Ringsted Ø.

The Danish Road Directorate reports that cleanup operations are underway. The closure was expected to last approximately thirty minutes, with traffic anticipated to resume by 14:30. The incident has resulted in growing traffic congestion between the Kongsted rest area and Ringsted Ø. It is currently unknown which lane was involved or if any injuries occurred.
