EA and Full Circle announce skate. Season 5 ‘Big Air Retreat’

EA and Full Circle have announced details for the fifth season of the game skate., titled ‘Big Air Retreat’, which is scheduled to launch on September 8. The update introduces several new features, including expanded social functions, changes to the progression system, and a new exploration area in San Vansterdam.

The centerpiece of the season is the S.U.M.R. Camp Mega Park, a massive mountain-based skatepark featuring over 30 unique tracks designed for high jumps, speed, and vertical exploration. This area is described as the largest space in the series' history. Access to the park will initially be available to skate. Premium Pass holders, with broader access planned for later in the season.

Gameplay improvements include 16 variants of Underflips, expanded footplant mechanics, and refined pumping systems for smoother movement. Additionally, the ‘Block Party’ mode will serve as an official Meetup feature, allowing up to 150 players to participate in various competitive or casual events simultaneously.
