EA Sports adds 74 Ultimate Team Icons to FIFA 19, featuring new legends

EA Sports announced that the upcoming FIFA 19 video game, scheduled for release on September 28, will contain 74 Ultimate Team Icons – the highest number in the series. The roster keeps all 40 Icons from FIFA 18 and introduces 34 new legends.

New additions include Portuguese striker Eusebio, Brazilian midfielder Socrates, Dutch forward Johan Cruyff, and Manchester United icons George Best and Ryan Giggs. Other newcomers are Luis Figo, Gennaro Gattuso, Michael Ballack, Jens Lehmann, Christian Vieri and Hristo Stoichkov. Best returns with a 93 overall rating, while Socrates receives a 91‑rated prime card. The expanded lineup aims to broaden the variety of legendary players available in FIFA 19’s Ultimate Team mode.
