EA Sports FC 27 ends Ultimate Plus Edition pre-orders

Electronic Arts is concluding the initial pre-order phase for EA Sports FC 27. As of August 31, the Ultimate Plus Edition is being removed from sale. This premium version, which includes seven days of early access, 10,000 FC Points, and various premium passes, will no longer be available for purchase or as an upgrade from the standard Ultimate Edition.

Pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition before the deadline also determines access to specific bonuses, such as an untradeable International ICON player with a minimum 85 rating. This player is scheduled to upgrade to a Champion version by November 30.

Gameplay testing in the current Beta suggests significant changes to the Ultimate Team (FUT 27) experience. Observed updates include increased tactical freedom with diverse formation meta-styles, improved player positioning, and more realistic player runs. In the Beta, AI players exhibit a slight delay in reacting to player actions during build-up phases, while making faster runs in the final third of the pitch.
