EA Sports FC 27 introduces new social hub and gameplay mechanics

EA Sports FC 27 introduces several structural changes to the long-running football simulation franchise. A primary addition is ‘The Grounds’, an open-world social hub featuring three distinct districts: Montclair, inspired by French urban football; Zeiza, inspired by Argentine football culture; and Parkside, inspired by United Kingdom football heritage.

Gameplay updates include a new corner-taking system, improved defensive options, and various control schemes. Career Mode has received an overhauled Transfer Market with multi-stage negotiations and new deal structures. In Ultimate Team, a new ‘FUT Gallery’ mechanic allows players to collect and display player cards in a manner similar to physical trading card games.

One version of the game is noted for its availability on the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
