EA Sports releases Madden NFL 27 player ratings, top quarterbacks hit 99

EA Sports unveiled the official player ratings for Madden NFL 27 ahead of the game’s launch. The quarterback rankings place Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen and Los Angeles Rams veteran Matthew Stafford at the peak of the new “99 Club” with a 99 overall rating. Behind them are Joe Burrow (97), Lamar Jackson (94), Patrick Mahomes (93), Drake Maye (92), Dak Prescott (91) and Justin Herbert (90).

The wide‑receiver list is led by Ja’Marr Chase and Jaxon Smith‑Njigba, each receiving a 99 rating, with Puka Nacua (98) and Amon‑Ra St. Brown (95) rounding out the top five. At running back, Detroit Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs leads at 98, followed by Christian McCaffrey (97) and Jonathan Taylor (96). Rookie ratings were also released, highlighting Denver Broncos’ top draft picks and several Atlanta Falcons newcomers.

Madden NFL 27 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC later this month, with Chicago Bears rookie Caleb Williams featured as the cover athlete.
