The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has arrested Lilian Nelima Buluma, a teacher at Friends School Kamusinga Boys High School in Bungoma County, for allegedly soliciting bribes to secure employment through the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Buluma reportedly demanded Ksh100,000 from each of three unemployed teachers, totaling Ksh300,000. Investigations revealed she had already received Ksh150,000 via mobile money transactions. The suspect allegedly claimed to have connections within the TSC and other government offices to facilitate the recruitment process.
