EADV 2026 Congress to feature major dermatology research in Vienna
The 2026 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 3 at the Austria Center Vienna. Organizers expect more than 17,000 attendees to participate in the event, which will feature late-breaking trial data and presentations across various skin conditions, including psoriasis, alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurativa, and atopic dermatitis.
Key clinical data expected at the congress includes 52-week phase 3 results for oturkibart in adults with prurigo nodularis, and 5-year data from the phase 3 ALLEGRO-LT study regarding ritlecitinib for alopecia areata. Additionally, the LOTUS trial will report on abdakibart for hidradenitis suppurativa, and the ADTouch trial will present 16-week results for lebrikizumab in patients with atopic hand and foot dermatitis.
LEO Pharma has announced it will present 28 accepted abstracts during the congress, covering nine disease areas and various modes of administration. A significant portion of their program focuses on tralokinumab, including new real-world TRACE data regarding its impact on patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in high-burden areas such as the head, neck, hands, feet, and genitals.
