EAGLES Charity Club hosts inclusion regatta at Starnberger See

The EAGLES Charity Club e. V., in collaboration with the Bayerischer Yacht-Club and the TURNING POINT Stiftung, hosted its first inclusion regatta at Starnberger See. The event focused on promoting participation in sailing for children and adolescents with physical or mental disabilities.

Participants included sailors with and without disabilities sailing together on equal footing. The regatta featured teams composed of two experienced youth with disabilities, two other participants, and a professional sailor. To support the cause, a charity golf kickoff was held, raising 16,500 euros. These funds are intended to finance a full-time coaching position and the purchase of boats for Paralympic classes.

The event was attended by various prominent figures, including actors Michael Roll and Simon Licht, singer Claudia Jung, and discus thrower Lars Riedel.
