EAJ demands improvements to bus services in Pasaia

The EAJ political party has called for urgent measures to improve bus services following recent changes to the Lurraldebus network. During an extraordinary plenary session in Pasaia, a motion supported by EAJ, EH Bildu, and Podemos was passed to restore and improve public mobility, despite opposition from PSE-EE.

The EAJ expressed concern regarding changes to the E07 and E09 lines, noting that frequency reductions and route alterations have negatively impacted the mobility of residents, students, and workers. The party has requested that the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council's Mobility Department ensure that Pasaia does not suffer setbacks in its transport connectivity.

In addition to the situation in Pasaia, concerns have been raised regarding bus service changes in the Bidasoa region. The EAJ has questioned the local government on whether requests to improve service frequency—specifically regarding the direct connection between Donostia and Hondarribia—have been forwarded to the relevant mobility department.
