EAO launches Highland brand of cost-effective AC cooling fans

EAO Ltd has launched the Highland brand, a new range of 89 cost-effective axial and centrifugal AC fans designed for general equipment cooling and ventilation in demanding industrial environments. The series includes the round HIG-C centrifugal fans and the square-framed HIG-A axial fans, available in various diameters and frame sizes.

The fans feature AC induction motors housed within rugged metal frames. Most models utilize maintenance-free ball-race bearings, offering a typical lifetime of 70,000 hours at 25°C or 45,000 hours at 40°C. For cost-sensitive applications, specific 80mm and 120mm axial fans are available with sleeve bearings providing a minimum lifetime of 30,000 hours at 30°C.

All Highland range fans are available in 115VAC and 230VAC versions and carry CE, UL, and TUV approvals. To assist with equipment design, EAO utilizes Sanyo Denki’s portable airflow tester system to generate impedance curves for determining optimal cooling solutions.
