Charles Spencer to release new biography about Princess Diana

Charles Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana, is set to release a new biography titled ‘Swan Song Diana, my sister’ in late September 2026. The book is scheduled to be published in twelve languages.

Spencer stated that the decision to write the memoir was driven by a desire to address and correct what he describes as ‘untruths’ that have become widely accepted as facts over the years. He aims to provide an intimate and honest portrait of his sister’s life, covering her childhood, teenage years, and the complexities of her marriage.

The publication comes ahead of the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death in 2027. Following the announcement of the book, a closure notice was issued at Althorp.
