Early childhood education initiatives launched in Venezuela and Argentina

In Maturín, Venezuela, local kindergartens are celebrating 27 years of Early Childhood Education. The anniversary week includes didactic, recreational, and sporting activities at the Soledad Clavier, Paula Bastardo Brito, and Monagas kindergartens. Supported by Mayor Ana Fuentes, the program features mural making, folklore, and pedagogical games. The celebrations will conclude with a walk from Plaza El Estudiante to the Maturín Cathedral.

In Santa Cruz, Argentina, a digital census has begun to measure early literacy levels among five-year-olds in both public and private kindergartens. The three-week evaluation uses tablets and interactive games to assess students. This initiative is a collaborative effort involving the Provincial Directorate of Educational Evaluation, the Valuato Educational Evaluation Observatory Civil Association, and several private foundations and companies.
