They responded to criticism of the $250 general‑admission price for Invest Fest, noting that more than 31,300 tickets have been sold and that the event injects money into local vendors, food trucks and nightlife. The organizers also provide free tickets for HBCU students and run a pitch competition for high‑schoolers.

The duo refuted a viral graphic that falsely linked the festival to arrests or bankruptcies and defended entrepreneur Pinky Cole against online attacks. This year’s lineup features Serena Williams, Steve Harvey and Nick Cannon, with a focus on AI and practical money moves. Throughout the interview, Bilal and Millings stressed financial‑literacy topics such as budgeting, compound interest and asset protection, promoting generational wealth for the broader community.
