Earthquakes recorded near Kobarid and Split

Two moderate earthquakes were recorded in the Balkan region. In Slovenia, a magnitude 2.4 earthquake occurred near Kobarid at 14:56. The epicenter was located approximately one kilometer southwest of Kobarid, with residents in Tolmin, Bovec, and surrounding areas reporting that they felt the tremor.

In Croatia, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake was recorded near the Split area at 12:24. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter was located 33 kilometers northwest of Split at a depth of 10 kilometers. Residents in Vrlika, Neorić, Dugopolje, Sinj, and Solin reported feeling the shaking.
