Earth's core dynamics and gravity interactions

Recent studies indicate that complex interactions within the Earth's core, involving gravity, mechanical torsions, and magnetic fields, may influence the duration of days. While Einstein's general relativity describes gravity as the curvature of spacetime, it does not fully account for mechanical torsions—deformations involving rotation and twisting in materials under stress.

Research suggests that these torsions can alter mass distribution and internal pressure, creating deformation fields that modify perceived gravitational effects. In laboratory settings, small variations in gravitational force have been detected in structures subjected to torsion. These findings suggest that gravitational fields are not fixed but can be influenced by rotational forces. Such phenomena are also relevant in space, where rotational movements and internal deformations in celestial bodies can generate gravitational anomalies that challenge classical models.
