Easee Charge Pro enables faster EV charging without grid upgrades, boosting European market share

Easee’s Charge Pro charger can automatically adjust its load to the capacity of a building’s electrical system, allowing multiple electric vehicles to charge simultaneously without costly grid upgrades. The device switches between phases and selects the one with the greatest available capacity, reducing peak demand and avoiding overload of main breakers.

The company highlights the future potential of Vehicle‑to‑Grid (V2G) technology, where EVs could also feed electricity back into the grid. Easee now has over one million installed chargers across Europe. In 2025 the firm reported a pre‑tax profit of 18.6 million Norwegian crowns and grew its Swedish market share from 6 % in 2023 to 25.6 % in 2025, following a change in ownership that aims to accelerate growth and expand its global position in smart charging and energy management.
