Easily App launched to improve digital accessibility in Greece

Easily App is a new Greek digital accessibility application designed to make web content more accessible to all users. The tool specifically targets individuals with dyslexia, ADHD, or other reading difficulties by providing a more comfortable and customizable reading experience.

Developed by Maria Tsiana, who holds postgraduate studies in Technology and Innovation Management from the Technical University of Crete, the app allows users to adjust font styles, sizes, and colors. It also features artificial intelligence capabilities and text-to-speech functions using natural voices to assist with comprehension.

Tsiana, who also serves as an Innovation and Business Consultant at the PRAXI Technology Transfer Network of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas, stated that the project was inspired by her own personal struggles with reading long texts online due to dyslexia.
