Bahram Sarmast, the Governor of East Azerbaijan, outlined key management priorities during a meeting with members of the Party House. He emphasized the necessity of utilizing existing capacities to maintain service delivery and advance developmental and construction projects despite uncertain conditions.
A primary focus is the transfer of Aras water to Tabriz, which Sarmast described as a vital priority and a formal demand of the province to the government. He noted that the President has issued necessary instructions regarding this matter and mentioned ongoing consultations with local industries to support the project.
Additionally, the Governor addressed several regional issues, including the development of the Youth Town project, resolving long-standing problems within housing cooperatives, and supporting the province's manufacturing and industrial sectors through improved communication routes and banking support.
