East Bay restaurants announce relocations and new openings

Several restaurant developments are occurring across the East Bay. Smoothie shop Drink Thicc is relocating from its Uptown Oakland location to 4001 Broadway in Temescal on September 4. Owner Minni Sandhu stated the business will occupy the new space for one year while a flagship location is under construction. The move will allow for a more permanent menu of core smoothies alongside rotating seasonal options.

In Pleasanton, Taiwanese boba tea shop Chicha San Chen has entered a soft opening phase at the Pacific Pearl Shopping Center. This marks the brand's fifth Northern California location, following previous openings in Berkeley and Fremont.

Additionally, Jamaican Again has returned to the Emeryville Public Market, offering jerk chicken plates and sandwiches.
