East Hesse Police Headquarters celebrates 25th anniversary in Fulda

The East Hesse Police Headquarters (Polizeipräsidium Osthessen) will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a public festival in Fulda on August 15, 2026. The event, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the headquarters on Severingstraße, aims to foster community trust and provide insight into police work.

The festivities will officially open with a ceremony involving Hessian Interior Minister Roman Poseck and Police President Michael Tegethoff. A new chronicle documenting the history of the headquarters will be presented to the public.

Activities for visitors include guided tours of the command center, the operational training center, and the police detention facility. Demonstrations will feature crime fighting techniques, service dogs, police vehicles, and a police helicopter, alongside interactive stations for forensic science training.
