East Java Governor Khofifah Wins 2026 Pimred Award for Public Communication

Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa of East Java was named the winner of the Pimred Award 2026 in the category of Communication and Public Information. The award ceremony was held as part of the Forum Pimred Multimedia Indonesia anniversary celebrations in Yogyakarta from 17–19 July 2026. The prize was presented by Press Council member Yogi Hadi Ismanto and Forum chair Bernadus Wilson Lumi, with Sherlita Ratna Dewi Agustin accepting on behalf of the governor.

The judges highlighted Khofifah’s strong commitment to media transparency, collaboration and open information for both journalists and residents. The governor reaffirmed that the provincial government will continue to maintain open communication channels and ensure information is readily accessible to the public.
