East Kalimantan authorities seize nearly 1kg of methamphetamine

The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in East Kalimantan has arrested two men, identified as KY and IH, for attempting to distribute nearly 1 kilogram of methamphetamine. The suspects were apprehended in Samarinda after authorities tracked a distribution pattern originating from Pontianak, West Kalimantan.

Investigations revealed that the narcotics, weighing 996 grams, were sourced from Kuching, Malaysia. The suspects allegedly acted under the direction of an inmate, identified as MK, who was operating from within the Bengkayang prison in West Kalimantan. The drugs were transported in a pink bag and packaged in green tea-branded plastic.
