East Lake Cup collegiate golf tournament begins in Atlanta

The East Lake Cup collegiate golf tournament is set to take place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The event features the top four semifinalists from the previous season’s NCAA Championships in both men’s and women’s divisions.

In the men’s division, the No. 1 ranked Auburn team will compete alongside Oklahoma State, UCLA, and Arizona. The tournament format begins with a single round of stroke play to determine seeding, followed by match play. Auburn enters the competition with several returning starters, including Josiah Gilbert, who recently won the Williams Cup.

In the women’s division, the No. 20 ranked Arkansas team makes its debut in the tournament following its first-ever semifinal appearance at the NCAA Championship. Arkansas will compete against USC, Oklahoma State, and Eastern Michigan. The Arkansas lineup includes senior Maria Jose Marin, a preseason first-team All-American.
