East Liverpool school board calls for community support

East Liverpool City School District officials recently addressed the community following the release of a state report card. Superintendent Jonathan Ludwig noted that while the district faces challenges, the Career Tech Program maintained a five-star rating, and College and Career Readiness metrics have shown improvement.

School board members issued a call for increased parental involvement to support student success. Board member Tamar Cooper encouraged parents and caregivers to engage with teachers, attend conferences, and monitor their children's progress to assist staff. Board President David Hamilton also invited parents to attend upcoming meetings where district principals will present building-level plans.
