EastEnders: Sophie Khan Levy exits as Priya amid major character drama

Actress Sophie Khan Levy is departing the BBC soap opera EastEnders after three years in the role of Priya Nandra-Hart. Levy, who is pregnant in real life, confirmed her exit following a storyline where her character leaves Walford for Leeds to escape threats from Cindy Beale. The departure follows the revelation that Priya’s unborn baby is fathered by Max Branning rather than her partner, Ravi Gulati.

In addition to the character exit, upcoming episodes feature significant drama for other residents. Nicola Mitchell faces financial ruin as bailiffs arrive at Harry’s Barn, which requires £25,000 to avoid closure. Meanwhile, tensions rise between Suki Panesar and her daughter Ash, and a confrontation erupts between Cindy Beale and Lauren Branning after Cindy discovers Lauren knew about Max’s affair.
