EastEnders confirms Ian Beale's return to Walford in October

The BBC soap opera EastEnders has confirmed that long-standing character Ian Beale will return to Walford on Wednesday, 7 October. Beale has been off-screen following his imprisonment for an incident involving Jordan Fox.

During his time in prison, Beale was involved in a storyline with Gray Atkins, which included a physical altercation where Beale stabbed Atkins in self-defense. Following an appeal of his sentence, he is expected to return to Albert Square, where he may receive support from Ned Hawkins, a war veteran and therapist.
